Obituary For: Jessie Genevieve Hagaman | Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, L.L.C.

Jessie Genevieve Hagaman, 91, of Whiting, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 at home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she lived in Silverton and Beachwood before moving to Whiting 29 years ago. She worked for the U.S. Government, Department of the Navy, Washington, D.C. Gen was a Voting District Worker, a member of the Silverton Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary, the Red Hat Society and the Women’s Club of Village III. She was a member of the Community Reformed Church, Whiting.

Gen was predeceased by her husband, James in 1972. She is survived by four children and their spouses, James and Cathy Hagaman, John and Ruth Hagaman, Joy and John Dittmeier and Jean and Frank Haughwout; six grandchildren, Ruthie, Rose, John, Frankie, Jesse and Thomas and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Mar. 20th at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Mar. 21st at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Silverton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Van Dyke Hospice (Team 7), 99 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755-6423, would be appreciated.
